Throughout the course of the last three weeks I have had the pleasure of testing out three fantastic products by Susan Posnik, Vitage and Medik8 - all rich in protection and all great quality. I tried out a mineral powder foundation, skin serum and an anti redness lotion, with the results being more than satisfactory in each case!

This product claims to give you instant protection against UV rays and to be water/sweat proof, which sounds pretty perfect for being up on the mountain. This mineral foundation not only comes in fantastic packaging and helps to keep your skin looking flawless during these harsh, cold winter days, but it also provides you with excellent coverage and even UV protection. I confirm that it is completely water resistant and sweat proof, perfect for a bluebird powder day! It feels very light on the skin and the colour blends perfectly to match your skintone!

All in all, it is a perfect mineral foundation; light application so you won't have a problem with clogged pores or irritation on sensitive skin, it's a fantastic purchase for on and off the slope beauty!

Vitage: Vitamin C Radiance Serum - £52

Now, please do not be alarmed by the price of this product; it may be slightly more expensive than serums you have tried in the past but I assure you that this is worth every penny! Enriched with vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid, this product is packed with strong and resistant anti-oxidants - these protect and repair all skin types giving you a radiant and glowing appearance. The product firms and hydrates the skin wonderfully leaving it feeling fresh and revitalised, very much protecting delicate skin affected by the cold weather and strong UV rays up the mountain!

Medik8: Red Alert - £29

Love skiing and generally frolicking in the snow, but hate turning up to apres with a bright red face and your skin feeling slightly worse for wear? If so, then I can definitely recommend the “Red Alert Serum” by Medik8. It is an anti-redness product, providing relief for redness and helps your skin combat daily environmental stress, subsequently reducing signs of ageing caused by weather damage.  It produces a calming effect and is generally a great product for the cold weather!
